PASSPORT REQUIREMENTS
Please note that up to date passports are necessary for all travelers and all existing passports must be good valid for the duration of your stay. If you need to apply or renew your pasport, the earlier you get the process started, the cheaper it will be. We encourage you to secure your passport ASAP. FLIGHTS
Cancun International Airport (CUN) is the airport to fly into. Due to the airlines constantly changing and adjusting flight times, our agent suggest that if you do not intend to purchase travel insurance with your room reservation, that you book your flights directly with the airline of your choosing so you have more flexibility and control to alter your flights if need be.

TIPS FOR BOOKING YOUR FLIGHTS 
- All flights should arrive and depart from Cancun International Airport.
- Avoid booking basic economy flights as those have strict rules that make the flights non-refundable and not modifiable. You also cannot choose your seats until you check-in, so you are likely to end up in a middle seat
- The airport shuttle will pick you up about 4 to 5 hours prior to your flight on the day of your departure back home. So keep that in mind if you opt to book an early morning flight -- afternoon flights are better if you want to avoid having to be picked up very early from the airport. Check out time is at noon at the resort.

The only time it is better for MarieSam to book your flights, is if you intend to purchase cash back insurance so that your entire trip is refundable. 

Regardless of whether you book your flights independently or with MarieSam, your room reservation will include airport shuttle transfers to and from The Fives Beach Hotel & Residences will also be covered in the price of lodging. Of note, the transfer from the airport to the resort is approximately 40 minutes.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
We have reserved a block of discounted rooms (minimum 3-night stay) at The Fives Beach Hotel & Residences, all-inclusive resort in Playa del Carmen. Our travel coordinator, MarieSam, will be your go-to for booking a room. She can also book your roundtrip flights if need be. **We kindly ask that you DO NOT book rooms directly through the hotel or on an online travel websites as they will be more expensive for you BUT also because your reservation made through the group block will help secure special amenities and perks for our group.**
